Below is a list of people who have agreed to be available for
interviews on the impact of the Delhi High Court's historic decision
to decriminalize gay sex for the first time since Queen Victoria's
era. The source list includes a spokesman for the United Nations; a
researcher for Human Rights Watch; the editor of a magazine released
two weeks ago whose cover story is presciently headlined "Life after
377"; and activists, health workers, gay journalists, and community
members. Those with an asterisk (*) may be available to write
commentaries or op-eds.
FYI for New York City media, a celebration is being planned for 7:30
p.m. tonight at the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street.
