The photo on the right is of Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, on one of his visits to India (he's hanging out here in the holy city of Varanasi, overlooking the Ganga river). In the Sunday New York Times Magazine, he's the subject of a "Domains" column (interesting people talk about their homes and interests). I found two India connections.
Favorite place to visit: India. It still feels really exotic. If I go to Hong Kong or Tokyo, they are different in a sense, but still very organized, like an American city. India has so much activity and crazy stuff going on wherever you look, it always blows my mind.
See his Flickr photos from India.
Turns out he's also a fan of Scrabulous, the Scrabble game on Facebook that was created by two brothers in Kolkata (see SAJAforum posting on Scrabulous).
Guilty pleasure: Playing Scrabble on Facebook. I do that when I am supposed to be working.
